Travis Lee - Senior Adult Minister

Travis Lee is a native of Center, Texas.  He was saved at a youth camp at the age of 13.  He is a graduate of Panola College in Carthage, Texas with a degree in business management.  Then in 2003, after 8 years of retail management, he left behind a business career to follow God’s call to preach the glorious Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He went to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, where he received the bachelor’s degree in Christian ministry in 2005.  He was called to pastor Red Bluff Baptist Church in Greensburg, Louisiana, during his study at New Orleans Seminary.  While at Red Bluff, he was licensed and ordained to preach in February 2005.

During his time in the ministry he has preached at numerous churches in Texas and Louisiana.  He is currently attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth in pursuit of the advanced master’s degree in pastoral ministry.

Travis is a unique preacher of God’s Word in the sense of demonstrating God’s grace and providence through his preaching.  He was blessed by God with a speech impediment, sometimes referred to as stuttering, from birth.  He truly views his speech as a blessing from the Lord.  He has not allowed his stuttering to hinder his calling from God to go out and spread the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.  His motto is “The will of God will never lead you, where the grace of God cannot keep you.”

Travis is happily married to his best friend and wife, Brandi Lee.  They have been married for 12 years.  They currently reside in Fort Worth, Texas and attend First Baptist Church in Aledo, Texas, where he serves as Minister to Senior Adults.
