Tom Snethen serves as Director of Evangelism and Discipleship at FBC Aledo. He is married to Charla who is a 3rd/4th grade teacher at Aledo Christian School and they have three kids, Kara (Texas A&M, Education) is a 6th grade reading teacher in Cypress, Texas, Dylan who is in high school and Royce who is in elementary school. Tom is originally from St. Louis, MO and is a huge Cardinals fan!

Educated in Business Administration at Truman University, and Christian Ministry at Dallas Baptist University, Tom is currently attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tom's role at FBC Aledo is to increase the church's visibility in the community, and help members discover their place in church ministry.

In addition to his responsibilities at FBC Aledo, Tom serves the international ministry of GOD TV as Vice President of Affiliate Relations. Tom has had a 20 year career in the cable television industry with stints at ESPN, Classic Sports Network and Fox Sports. 

"God was using my secular career to prepare me for what He really wanted me to do, to represent His church and His son in a meaningful way that equips and encourages believers while also reaching those separated from Him."

Tom, Charla and their family reside in Aledo and are grateful to the Lord to be used to reach out in Christ's love to the community.
