Mike Mitchell grew up in Eastern North Carolina. He gave his life to Christ at the age of 10, and felt God's call to full-time ministry at age 16. He moved to Ft. Worth in 1993 to pursue training at Southwestern Seminary. There he met his wife, Jennifer, and they were married in December, 1995 and moved to Aledo.

Since graduating from seminary in 1997, Mike has served full-time at FBC Aledo as Children’s Minister and, now, Worship Pastor. Mike's goal in this ministry is to lead the First Family of Aledo into God-pleasing worship that extends beyond Sunday mornings. 

Mike and Jennifer have two sons, Henry and Samuel.
