Jarryd and his wife Jessica were married on January 10, 2009. Jarryd is a native of Odessa and a 2002 graduate of Odessa Permian. He graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 2006 with a BM in Commercial Music and a Music Business minor while attending on a golf scholarship. In May 2009 Jarryd received a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jarryd began serving at FBC Aledo as the Minister of Worship and Media in March 2009.

Before coming to FBC Aledo Jarryd served as the Minister of Music at Trinity Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX. He has traveled numerous times to the country of Guatemala where he was able to share the gospel through music and drama. Jarryd loves spending time with his wife as well as playing golf, teaching voice and guitar, writing music, studying worship in scripture and its application in our lives, and reading.

Jessica grew up in Galveston, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a BS in Biomedical Science. Jessica was called to the ministry while serving and ministering to AIDS orphans in Africa shortly after college. Jessica also attends Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. At FBC Aledo, Jessica serves as the Discipleship Minister to the High School girls. Jessica loves missions, photography, writing, being outside, discipleship and being married. Together they love serving the Lord and the people of FBC Aledo.
