FAQS:
Q. I have never been to a retreat before, what can I expect? Who goes to the Retreat?
A. Women of all ages, backgrounds, and interests attend the FBC Aledo Women's Retreat each year and all are welcome. You do not have to regularly attend FBC Aledo to attend the Retreat. The Retreat weekend gives you an opportunity to hang out with other women, away from the obligations in our lives, and learn more about growing spiritually. We believe spiritual growth comes in various forms though community, worship, companionship and fun.
Q. Will I get to spend time with my friends?
A. Yes. When you register, you have an opportunity to request roommates and to see who is going to attend. But during the weekend you will also be encouraged to meet and build relationships with other women through free time activities, and other opportune moments.
Q. What is the retreat supposed to "do" for me?
A. The experience is unique to each individual. We hope you take away from it the knowledge that God is there to satisfy your deep longings. We pray you form strong ties with other women who are on the same journey as you. And we wish for you to have a fun, relaxing weekend that will renew your spirit.
