Women's Ministry - Mentoring


"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God" (Titus 2:3-5 NIV) Susan Hunt, author of Spiritual Mothering, describes mentoring this way: "Spiritual mothering [mentoring] takes place when... A woman possessing faith and spiritual maturity enters into a nurturing relationship with a younger woman in order to encourage and equip her to live for God's glory." For additional information, or to volunteer, contact Andrea Casey, "Just Women" Mentoring Team Lead CORE Groups New CORE Groups are forming now - These are accountability groups of 3-4 women who meet regularly to encourage each other in their spiritual growth process.
